How does supplier finance work?

A customer's equipment is out of date and slowing its workforce. They have found the latest technology with their preferred supplier. Their supplier works with Grenke as their finance provider and applies for the customer to finance the equipment or asset with Grenke. After confirming the customers eligibility for equipment finance, Grenke confirms with the supplier that the equipment can be financed with Grenke. 


The Customer receives the equipment and any maintenance and service from the supplier. They become a separate customer of Grenke. Grenke purchase the equipment for them, and lease or hire the equipment back to them with regular payments over a fixed term.

Grenke offer asset finance as a Finance Lease. Our Hire Agreement, or Lease Contract can be on 3 to 7 years terms subject to the equipment review. Grenke retain ownership of the equipment for the entirety of the lease agreement.

If a customer provides notice on ceasing their lease with Grenke, the equipment is returned to the supplier. The reseller is issued a title invoice for the amount agreed in their repurchase agreement. The reseller becomes the owner when Grenke receive payment for the title. 

Grenke have the industries leading GO Partner Portal, which offers partners complete visibility and control over their finance requests and contracts running with Grenke. Our team are always on hand to answer queries and support sales opportunities.
